Insulating gloves

Insulating glove tests are performed in accordance with ASTM D120, ASTM F496 and CSA Z462 standards.

Inspection procedure:

  • Ranking by pair, by class and by length

  • Sealed bagging to ensure safety and traceability

Safety harnesses, lanyards and DAR

Service offered: Mobile inspection at your location. Recommended frequency: Annually or according to your internal standards. Standards: CSA-Z259

Inspection procedure:

  • Visual inspection of straps, seams, D-rings and connectors

  • Checking the loops, adjustments, carabiners and shock absorbers

  • Inspection of lanyards (wear, abrasions, seams and connectors)

  • Inspection of self-retracting devices (SRDs): locking mechanism, cable unwinding and return, condition of the cable and housing.

  • CSA Z462
    Canadian standard requiring the use of compliant grounding devices when working in electrically hazardous environments.

  • Dielectric testing if required, depending on the category and the customer's use

  • Classification by type, length and category

  • Immediate identification of non-conforming items

  • Affixing a label indicating conformity and inspection date

  • Issuance of a detailed traceability report

  • Handover to the client on-site at the end of the inspection
